Having a medical condition shouldn't stop you from exploring the world. At Free2Travel, we believe everyone deserves access to quality Travel Insurance, including cover for many pre-existing medical conditions.
Whether you're planning a relaxing holiday, an exciting city break, a cruise or a trip to visit family and friends, we make it easier to find Travel Insurance that suits your needs.
When buying Travel Insurance, it's important to declare all pre-existing medical conditions, even if they're well managed or you haven't received treatment recently.
Declaring your medical history helps ensure your policy provides the cover you need. Failure to disclose relevant medical information could affect your ability to make a claim if your condition contributes to cancelling your trip or requiring emergency medical treatment while you're away.
If your health changes after you've purchased your policy but before you travel, you should let us know so we can review your cover.
Everyone's health is different, which is why we take an individual approach when providing Travel Insurance. By telling us about your medical conditions during the quote process, we can help you find cover that's appropriate for your circumstances.
You will be asked a series of questions that cover the last 5 years of medical history. Our medical screening is quick, secure and designed to make arranging your Travel Insurance as straightforward as possible.
Free2Travel can provide cover for many pre-existing medical conditions, including but not limited to:
Asthma
Diabetes
High blood pressure
Heart conditions
Cancer
Stroke
Arthritis
Epilepsy
COPD
Multiple sclerosis
Crohn's disease and more
A pre-existing medical condition is any illness, injury or medical condition you've experienced before taking out your Travel Insurance. This includes conditions you've been diagnosed with, treated for, monitored or prescribed medication for.
The cost of Travel Insurance depends on a range of factors, including your destination, age, trip duration and medical history. Every quote is tailored to your own individual requirements and needs.
This depends on your individual situation and subject to medical screening and acceptance. We'll ask a few questions to understand your circumstances and determine the cover available.
If we're unable to offer suitable cover for your medical condition, help may still be available through BIBA's FCA-approved Medical Cover Firm Directory, which can help you find specialist travel insurance providers.
